Google PageRank, ada apa?

Ada yang udah perhatikan PageRank milik Google yang ada di Toolbar-nya? Baru aja belum lama ini Google melakukan update thp PageRank yang di Toolbar-nya. Dan ini menimbulkan keresahan di kalangan SEO (search engine optimization) alasan teknologinya bisa dilihat di sini!. Dari hasil update ini, patut dicatat ada tiga (3) hal :
  1. Google telah menaikkan bar-nya di PageRank, jadi akan semakin sulit muncul di posisi teratas.
  2. Juga cara Google menampilkan backlinks-nya telah berubah, atau
  3. Cara Google melakukan kalkulasi nilain dari inbound links pun telah berubah
Nah loh, tantangan lagi bagi kalangan SEO, nah bagaimana pengalaman Anda dan situs web Anda serta bisnis Anda selama ini? Apakah telah menikmati keuntungan dari Google karena menikmati posisi atas (top 10 ranks?)

I must be missing something with the whole page rank thing. I mean, if I go after a keyword, and I get it to the top position in the search engines, why should I care at all about the pr that is going to show in the google bar. It shouldn't matter at all, to anyone. After all, the whole point is to grab those top positions, and you can do that just fine without having high google pr.
